The collaboration between Hope for Afghan Women and Soraya Creation Mode is based on a common history, deeply rooted in exile, solidarity, and lasting commitment to Afghan women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are two sisters originally from Afghanistan. In 1978, the Soviet invasion forced our family into exile, causing a profund and lasting displacement form our homeland. This experience shaped our lives and strengthened our awareness of the challenges faced by Afghan women, who have long endured conflict, inequality, and the denial of fundamental rights \u2013 a reality that tragically continues today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2005, following the fall of the Taliban regime, I returned to Afghanistan to take part in the country\u2019s reconstruction efforts. This experience on the ground reinforced my determination to act in a meaningful and sustainable way. In 2019, I founded Hope for Afghan Women, an organization dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable women and children through concrete, long-term initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n

The association has notably allowed the opening of a reception center in Kabul, offering regular support to destitute women and children. Our actions aim to promote their economic autonomy, dignity and protection in an extremely fragile context. In this dynamic, Soraya Creation Mode, founded and led by my sister Homayra Kardan, plays an essential role. Through the sale of artisanal products \u2013 including jackets made by beneficiaries of our programs \u2013 Soraya Creation Mode commits to donating 40% of its profits to the association Hope for Afghan Women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
