The GRSSGO is a leading provider of continuing medical education activities.
As a member of the GRSSGO, you will be able to learn about the latest developments in the field of obstetrics and gynecology in Switzerland and abroad through our training days.

Our society currently has more than 350 members and your membership will further support the important work of GRSSGO to improve the practice of obstetrics-gynecology and the quality of care provided to women.

Soroptimiste Nyon
The Soroptimist International Club of Nyon-Rolle, which has 27 members in 2022, was founded in 1964 (Nyon) and 1968 (Rolle). The two clubs merged in 2020. With more than half a century of activities, its members volunteer to raise funds or awareness for local and international causes, putting into practice its motto : Comprendre, Défendre, Entreprendre.
Our club is one of the 61 Soroptimist International clubs in Switzerland in 2021.
1'900 members in Switzerland support the universal voice for women and are at the service of women, and mobilize to bring and ensure for women and girls.
EDUCATION

About the founder of the association, Rohina Samim
With more than 25 years of experience in the banking sector in Switzerland and Afghanistan, Rohina has cross-over experiences in education, gender equity and project management, working closely together with governments and the private sector. Recently returned to Switzerland, she is now involved in her association and as a French-English-Afghan interpreter, three languages she masters perfectly.
During her 10 years in Kabul, Rohina has run several projects leading to self-sufficiency and financial independence for vulnerable and exposed women, in parallel with her professional life in finance. She has helped them to strengthen their capacities and rights. Her increased knowledge of micro-credit/micro-financing schemes and their long-term effect on the beneficiaries tells her that a simple sewing machine can work wonders! These women have nothing, they are in total misery. Once they are sheltered with their children, they have only one desire: to get out of it. With a sewing machine and some fabric, they can work, make clothes for themselves and their children, but also sell them. In these times of pandemic, they make protective masks against the coronavirus and sell them on the market. In this way, they are lifted out of poverty, become self-sufficient and can regain the face they have lost. They can send their children to school and promise them a better future.
