We are two sisters originally from Afghanistan. In 1978, the Soviet invasion forced our family into exile, causing a profund and lasting displacement form our homeland. This experience shaped our lives and strengthened our awareness of the challenges faced by Afghan women, who have long endured conflict, inequality, and the denial of fundamental rights – a reality that tragically continues today.
In 2005, following the fall of the Taliban regime, I returned to Afghanistan to take part in the country’s reconstruction efforts. This experience on the ground reinforced my determination to act in a meaningful and sustainable way. In 2019, I founded Hope for Afghan Women, an organization dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable women and children through concrete, long-term initiatives.

This solidarity-based model enables us to :
- fund the humanitarian activities of the association
- provide a stable income to beneficiary women, often their only means of survival
- value and promote their craftsmanship in a dignified and ethical way

In parallel, Hope for Afghan Women works to improve access to education for young girls through online training programs. We provide them with essential tools, including mobile phones and Internet subscriptions, so they can continue learning despite restrictions and barriers to formal schooling.
This collaboration reflects a shared vision: a responsible and ethical partnership where fashion, social entrepreneurship, and humanitarian action come together to create opportunities for Afghan women – built on autonomy, education, and hope.
